PROJECT BRIEF
The project brief
The apartment had a strong view but the developer finish felt cold, with many glossy surfaces and too little room for family activities.
Each option is tested across planning, materials, lighting and buildability to keep the design intent consistent through to completion.
DESIGN RESPONSE
The design response grows from how the space is used.
We reduced the number of materials, introduced matte timber surfaces and reorganised the living room around several modes of use rather than a single TV axis.
Material palette
Natural oak / textured plaster / brushed metal / soft textiles
Design focus
Daylight / circulation / storage / tactile surfaces
