The project brief
The narrow frontage and central stair created dark pockets, while the family wanted the relaxed feeling of a weekend home.
Each option is tested across planning, materials, lighting and buildability to keep the design intent consistent through to completion.
DESIGN RESPONSE
The design response grows from how the space is used.
A neutral palette, strategically placed reflective surfaces and layered lighting reduce the contrast between inner and outer zones.
