PROJECT BRIEF
The project brief
The original plan was fragmented, the shared living area lacked daylight and disconnected storage made the house feel constantly constrained.
Each option is tested across planning, materials, lighting and buildability to keep the design intent consistent through to completion.
DESIGN RESPONSE
The design response grows from how the space is used.
We reopened the main sightline, consolidated storage into built-in volumes and used a concise material palette to create continuity between the living room, kitchen and dining area.
Material palette
Natural oak / textured plaster / brushed metal / soft textiles
Design focus
Daylight / circulation / storage / tactile surfaces
